Undertaking regular, professional reviews, in educational institutions which are conducted by an independent third party is very important for educational administration and planning. However, such a review should not only be confined to determine inadequacies or to identify current organizational statue, but should also focus on the growth potential of the institution and identify areas of improvement. Such a review enables institutions to understand their current weakness and strength, and also identifies areas of improvement. Hence, educational institutions may intervene at the right time, improve their plans, processes and procedures, and form their strategies by taking evidence-based decisions towards their goals.
Our pioneering programme, INOVEDS School Review is designed by taking into account the structure of the school and it is based on the “INOVEDS Quality Review Framework”. The framework, which focu1ses on quality education and on organizational success, provides a detailed road map towards evaluating institutional / administrative / educational processes.
INOVEDS Quality Review Framework is a comprehensive education review framework, which is inspired from and in accordance with current legislation, OECD Educational Assessment Programs, UNESCO-General Education Quality Analysis/Diagnosis Framework, ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems Standards revised for education, our experience derived from research and implementation processes. It is continuously revised, updated and improved according to the developments in education and also due to the changes in legislations, methodology etc.
INOVEDS School Review, conducted by a team of experts, includes evaluation of academic achievement, school climate and all the internal and external processes carried out by the educational institution as a business organization. The review focuses on quality education and the main difference from traditional school inspection and supervision approach lies in its approach as a learning, research and collaboration process. Besides our detailed and comprehensive INOVEDS School Review, we also design case-study reviews upon the request from educational institutions.
The implementation INOVEDS School Review starts by forming a team of experts by taking the structure, goals and stakeholders of the educational institution into consideration. The processes and procedures of the organization were observed on site and data to be used for detailed analysis was gathered through interviews, observations, surveys, focus group interviews and document inspection. In order to share the findings and results of the review, INOVEDS School Review Report was prepared for the institution and INOVEDS Quality Certificate was issued.
INOVEDS School Review Report defines the corporate identity, it presents the current situation analysis about the institution including inputs, outputs, processes and collaborations and also presents the opportunities for improvement. INOVEDS School Review is conducted every 3 years as a comprehensive process and its validity is reconfirmed annually.
