In the South Marmara Renewable Energy Employment Market Analysis, we examined current and future labour-market needs in the region’s wind, solar and biogas sectors. The study combined a desk review with extensive fieldwork, including surveys, in-depth interviews and focus group meetings with university students, job seekers, employees, employers, and university professors, as well as sector organisations and public institutions. This mixed-methods approach provided robust evidence on skills needs, employability and the alignment between education and the renewable energy labour market needs.
